Italy: electoral swamp and coming class struggle

The fall of the Draghi government in Italy has resulted in snap elections being called for 25 September. While panic abounds about the inevitable victory of a right-wing coalition led by Meloni’s “Brothers of Italy” party, the fact is that workers and youth have few illusions that a change at the top will improve their situation, which has become increasingly desperate. A lack of leadership from the left and trade union tops means workers will have to take the fight to defend their wages and conditions to the streets. Almighty class struggle is implicit in this situation.

Tras el regreso a las clases presenciales en este nuevo ciclo escolar, las protestas estudiantiles en el Instituto Politécnico Nacional se han extendido como fuego en pradera seca, las razones: cientos de estudiantes en las escuelas se han quedado sin poder inscribir materias, falta de infraestructura y mantenimiento a las instalaciones, así como el permanente autoritarismo, arrogancia y prepotencia de las autoridades.

A visão clássica de como o capitalismo se desenvolve é que dentro da sociedade feudal surge uma classe composta por comerciantes, banqueiros, primeiros industriais, ou seja, a burguesia, e que para essa classe poder desenvolver todo o seu potencial é necessária uma revolução burguesa para quebrar o limites impostos pela aristocracia feudal fundiária. Foi assim que as coisas se desenvolveram, mais ou menos, em países como França e Inglaterra, mas não no Japão.
