ہیٹی میں جووینل موئیس کی حکومت مکمل طور پر ناجائز اور بدعنوان ہے۔ پارلیمنٹ تحلیل ہونے کے بعد موئیس آمریت کے ذریعے حکومت کر رہا ہے اور مسلح گروہوں کی حمایت ساتھ لے کر ظالمانہ طریقے سے اپنے اقتدار کو مستحکم کر رہا ہے۔ یہ غنڈہ گرد گروہ بہت سے جرائم میں ملوث ہیں جن میں کھلے عام محلوں پر حملے کر کے حکومت کے مخالفین کو قتل کرنا شامل ہے۔ ملک میں سیاسی اور معاشی بحران گہرا ہو جانے کے ساتھ ہی موئیس نے اپنے اقتدار کو مزید مستحکم کرنے کیلئے نئے آئین کے بارے میں باتیں کرنی شروع کر دی ہیں۔ اگست کے اواخر میں پورٹ او پرنس بار کے سربراہ مونفیرئیر ڈورول کو اس کے گھر کے باہر قتل کر دیا گیا، جو حکومت کا مخالف تھا۔ اس قتل نے طلبہ احتجاجوں کو شدید اشتعال دیا جس میں موئیس حکومت کی مذمت کی گئی۔ 2 اکتوبر کو ہیٹی سٹیٹ یونیورسٹی کے ایک طالب علم گریگری سینٹ-ہیلری کو دوران احتجاج قتل کر دیا گیا۔ 5 اکتوبر کو سینٹ-ہیلری کے قتل کے خلاف ہونے والے مظاہرے میں ایک اور طالب علم اپنی جان سے ہاتھ دھو بیٹھا۔ ہم موئیس حکومت اور ان قتال کی مخالفت کرتے ہیں۔

The June Days
Following the First All-Russian Congress of Soviets, the reformist leaders called a demonstration to show the strength of "democracy". 400,000 people attended, the vast majority carried banners with Bolshevik slogans.

The July Days
Spontaneous, armed demonstrations against the Provisional Government erupt in Petrograd. The workers and soldiers are suppressed by force, introducing a period of reaction and making the peaceful development of the revolution impossible.

The Kornilov Affair
Following the July days, the Bolsheviks were driven underground and the forces of reaction were emboldened. This process culminated in the reactionary forces coalescing around General Kornilov, who attempt to march on Petrograd and crush the revolutionary movement in its entirety.
